Name Time Gender Age Beer Notes
Dave Cybulski 5:52.0 M 22 From Can Keiths Another well earned PB, and the debut of the year for Dave took his PB down 8 seconds
Nick Croker 8:08.0 M 21 From Can Laker Another well run race, and destroyed Kip Sigsworth time, which he is proud of. The pre race training at Kenga's the Thursday before really helped.
Mike Asmussen 8:23.0 M He was the sleeper of the group. He kept his mouth shut and let everyone else do the talking before the race. When it came to race time, he took the bronze in style. Quite an impressive debut.
Tony Pucci 9:47.0 M 22 A well run sub 10 performance. The Italian Stallion won't give up on this quest
Kurt Kenny 17:47.0 M 26 From Can Lakeport A wise man once said,
Neil Irvine 23:25.0 M Not much to say. Finnished the Race?
Liz Van Every DNF F 19 From Can Lakeport For all the hype, a poor showing
Sarah Swan DNF F From Can Canadian 12min isn't so easy now, is it swanny. It is harder than it looks.
Jonas Holmberg DNF M 25 Let's just start pouring beer on our chest
Nigel Rhodde DNF M Dropped out for unknown reasons
Mel McLean DNF F 18 From Can Canadian Another dissapointing run
Tafline Tong DNF F Even though Taf wasn't in the hype or in the betting pools no one thought that the result would be a DNF
Fadi Dawood DNF
Stephanie Peltier DNF
Dustin Pearson DNF M 19

Race Notes:

This race was a little scattered. A lot of people out to watch because they were to scarred to try it. But all in all I think it was a success at least for most of the boys who really wanted to run it. We had at least 3 timers timing the race, as well as video footage that will soon be mailed so that official race results can be posted. Nick Croker 8:08 is legit since his PB in the 1500m is around 4:30, while Mike Assmusen can run a 1000m race in 2:38. Tonny Pucci has a PB of 4:14 in the 1500m as well. All race results can be verified by the timers and competitors as well. As for myself, I can drink a beer in less then 4 secs and run a sub 4:30 mile
