Name Time Gender Age Beer Notes
1 Cletus Iserhoff 9:48 M 34 From Can Moosehead This gentleman did not let the smack talk get to him. He had an amazing race, finishing under 10 minutes for his first time. "There was not a doubt in my mind!" He has great potential in this sport!
2 Emma Iserhoff 17:48 F 8 From Cup Gatorade This young girl wanted a shot at this race and blew everybody away! Downing 1/4 liter per lap, she blew the rest of the competition away! Watch out world, in a few years she will be setting records! Penalty Lap
3 Christopher Gaudreau 17:56 M 19 From Bottle Upper Canada This cow came close to catching Emma. He's alright for a first timer. Penalty Lap.
4 Spencer Tessier 29:08 M 20 From Bottle Upper Canada Penalty Lap. "Beer was a bad choice."
5 Kaylie Iserhoff 37:52 F 20 From Can Moosehead 3rd beermile and slowest one yet. Forgot to "warm up." Will beat Cletus next year.

Race Notes:

Today was the first beermile ever to be hosted in the small Northeastern Ontario town of Iroquois Falls. Despite the small showing of only 5 participants, everybody finished and there was an equal number of observers out to encourage. It was a real family affair, with father and daughter taking first and second place. I'm confident that next year will be even more awesome now that people know what it's about. The gravel track (yes, gravel) was firmly packed today, making for extra awesomeness! Congratulations to all finishers! Everybody did amazing considering 4 out of 5 participants were first timers!
