Race Notes:

This is an annual beer mile that occurs once at the end of each summer. All race participants in this event only compete in one beer mile per year as a get-together as a group to bond and celebrate a proud tradition. None in the group do any beer-mile-specific training, but mostly run and just do a beer mile for fun. This year there was more incentive to run fast. The top 3 finishers in this race went 5:24, 5:58, 6:20 and this was the first time that a finisher in this annual race has gone sub-6-minutes.
