For women, England declared Polly Keen (6:51) as their third runner, since the English women did not declare a team.
Corey Bellemore's time was third fastest ever, behind his two former world records, This race was run on a dirt/clay track, so this time would have been very close on another surface.
Secondary Note: We reinstated Peter Eriksson. This created a tie between Norway and Sweden for third. Overall Time of scorers was used as tiebreaker. Sweden won by virtue of faster combined team time (17:38 to 17:41).
