Toronto (AP) Steve showed his drinking prowess right from the start downing his first beer in 25 seconds! From there he established a commanding lead for the first two laps. Defending champ April Boultbee showed her toughness by chipping away at his lead, but in the end just ran out of real estate. Steve celebrated his victory win with another beer and restored male supremacy to the traditional event. I am sure that the Killer Bees (April and Melanie) will be training hard for next year?s event. First timer Natalie eventually finished due to the haranguing and encouragement of the others participants. There are no quitters in OUR beer mile.
